On top of the mat I placed a silver charger (Charter Club from Macy’s), then a plate from the set of Crate & Barrel fine china I received for my wedding.
For the napkins (I got these lovely ruby cloth napkins from Target) and flatware, I used a simple roll method, stealing some greenery from our Christmas tree. I tied a sprig from my fir tree to the napkins and flatware with a piece of jute thread, and accented it with a silver Christmas bell decoration.
The centerpiece consisted of a potted poinsettia plant (from my local H-E-B grocery store) and glittery white reindeer repurposed from my white, silver, and gold Christmas mantel from last year (since I switched it up this year). The reindeer statuettes coordinate with the elk die-cut on the placemat.
The result was a relatively simple, but bold overall table setting, predominately red and white, accented with silver, and a pop of green from the tree sprigs.
I’m kinda in love with how the napkin and flatware roll turned out! Easy and festive!
I hope this has helped inspire your own simple, but fabulous, holiday table. If so, be sure to pin and share!
