Using cardboard scissors (or other strong scissors), carefully cut off the two long flaps on the top of the cardboard box and one of the small flaps (leaving one of the small flaps intact).

Paint the outside of the box and the top of the small flap in your choice of color(s) for your car(s). Let dry.

Using a hot glue gun, attach 4 plates to the bottom corners of the long sides of the box to look like tires. Attach another plate to the center of the top flap as a steering wheel.

Optional: Attach printed Rubble & Crew emblems to the car, and paint on any additional car details you want (headlights, grill, etc.) to creatively customize your car. You can always just keep the car simple and let the kids use their imaginations! You can also add small pillows and blankets inside the car to make the viewing experience even more cozy.
