About Ramona Cruz-Peters
I like pretty things. I believe that you can still have nice things, even after kids and on a budget. I also believe that living fabulously is completely in your hands, as long as you prioritize. But the fab life can mean something different to everyone, and we all have a right to pick and choose rather than live a cookie-cutter lifestyle.
I am Ramona, a (very) busy millennial working mom of two (Grayson – 13, and Sawyer – 10) living in my husband’s home state of Texas with our two pug dogs in our first home. A Puerto Rican born in England and raised in SoCal, I developed a sense of wanderlust from my active, traveling family from an early age. In addition to travel, I express myself through fashion, and get pleasure from food, cooking (especially my family’s Puerto Rican recipes), DIY décor, and entertaining.
After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Sociology, I worked at Myspace for five years before moving to Austin, TX. I have since worked in marketing and communications for both private and non-profit organizations (one of which I led to a social media award for the Austin-American Statesman). In my volunteer time, I am a Leader for my kids’ Camp Fire scouting group.
I find joy and positivity from my environment, which is why I began my blogging journey 15 years ago – to inspire others to incorporate more fabulousness into their everyday lives. I consider myself a Martha Stewart for our generation, and seek to show others that the Pinterest life is more attainable than you may think when you keep it simple, prioritize, and employ a few hacks and shortcuts along the way.
Feel free to send me an email me at [email protected] if you have some great finds of your own to share, or have any questions!
