My baby brother recently got married, and I was honored that his lovely bride invited me to be part of her bridal party for the special day.  The bridal party had so much fun leading up to the wedding (not to mention during the wedding weekend itself in Vegas!).  One thing these ladies quickly learned that we had in common was an affinity for the bubbly.  When it came time to pick a theme for our Marina Del Rey bachelorette party weekend, it was a no-brainer to have a champagne theme!

Not only was pink one of the wedding colors, but it also happened to be a favorite of the bride’s.  Therefore, pink was a dominant color in the décor, along with gold to match the foil on the sparkling wine splits we had as party favors.  Here are all the details!

Favors: Sparkling wine splits tied with gold ribbon, a homemade label, and metallic gold striped straws.

We presented them with pink plastic champagne flutes with gold sugar sprinkles on the rim.  Also seen on the table here are gold and white cocktail napkins, and a simple floral arrangement of pink roses and peonies.

Gold glitter-edged chalkboard signs from Michael’s were decorated with champagne-inspired sayings like “Pop, Fizz, Clink,” and “Let’s Pop the Top, She’s Tying the Knot.”  I also made tank tops with iron-on slogans with my Cricut for the bride and bridesmaids to wear for one of the evenings.

Diamond ring and heart confetti added a little extra bling to the décor.

The bride’s tank was white with pink glitter iron-on vinyl, and said “He popped the question…”

In response to the bride’s tank top, the tank for the bridesmaids said “… We’re poppin’ bottles” in white iron-on vinyl on pink tops.

More décor included pearlized pink, gold, and silver balloons, pink tassel garlands, gold glitter garlands, and pink fans in assorted sizes and attached to the wall.

Pink macarons are the only appropriate sweets to accompany the bubbly for an occasion like this!

We inflated a champagne bottle mylar balloon with air and attached it to the wall.  I hung a few gold tassel decorations from it to imitate champagne being poured.  You can do this with iridescent white and gold balloons as well.

Naturally, the weekend required plenty of bubbly too, which the ladies each brought to contribute.  We had a fun and fizzy time!  Don’t forget to pin this one for inspiration for your next girl’s weekend, birthday party, bridal shower, or bachelorette party!
