Spring is in the air! To me, that means it’s time to start breaking out the dresses! I love that dresses can be worn for seemingly every occasion, whether it’s for work, vacation, brunch, shopping, a wedding, you name it! Today I am showing you how to style a few of this spring and summer’s hottest dress trends for different occasions. Be sure to check out Tobi.com for tons of reasonably-priced, but of-the-moment dresses for spring and summer!
Look 1: Your Casual, Everyday Dress.
As I shared in my spring fashion must-haves post, off-the-shoulder and bell-sleeves are uber hot for spring and summer this year. This Tobi Peace of Mind Striped Off Shoulder Shift Dress is the perfect combo of both those things, in a breezy silhouette and nautical stripes. This is great for a spring break trip or a day of shopping. I paired it with one of the hottest shoe styles of the season, a block-heel mule. These mules are JustFab’s Bijou in Cognac. If you’re not a member of JustFab yet, click here to join to get the VIP pricing on these shoes (disclosure: this is an affiliate link, which means I receive commission from JustFab if you sign-up using the link)! The icing on the cake are my current favorite sunnies, Karen Walker ‘Simone’ Retro Sunglasses (affiliate link).
Look 2: Your Brunch and Garden Party Dress.
Pinks, ruffles, and florals are key components to spring/summer 2017 style. This pretty Express Floral Print Tiered Halter Neck Midi Dress (affiliate link) has all that in a flattering, feminine style. Try pairing it with some wrap-up flats, like these Express Side-Tie Sandals (affiliate link), as lace-up shoes are still a hot trend. I capped-off this look with a set of delicate, gold-toned Feel For You Stack Rings from Tobi.
Look 3: Your Spring/Summer Wedding Guest Dress.
You will look even hotter than spring’s hottest color (blush pink) when you wear this Tobi On the Plunge Midi Dress to the next wedding you attend or fancy date night. To not take away from the impact of the dress, I accessorized minimally with a Skinny Glitter Hinge Bracelet (affiliate link) and Sequin Pom Heeled Sandals (affiliate link), both from Express. Pompon details for shoes and handbags are all-the-rage right now, but these shoes take the trend from casual and beachy to date-worthy with the metallic colors.
