If you think about it, back-to-school is kind of like New Years for kids. It’s a chance to start anew, refresh, and even set goals for the coming year (‘School Years’ Resolutions,’ if you will). Just as the lead up to the new year is New Years Eve, the school shopping period is the same for the school year ahead. I’m not talking about the lists of the usual basics we all need (one yellow pocket folder with brads, a two-pack of a specific size of glue sticks, the black composition folder with wide ruling… parents know all about that fun).
