We recently held a watch party to celebrate the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem on digital, and not only did we LOVE this wildly entertaining, action-packed movie, the party was epic too! TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM is now available to buy or rent on Digital for fans to watch at home from Paramount Home Entertainment. If you haven’t seen this one yet, it’s fun for kids and adults, and this is coming from someone who was a huge Ninja Turtles fan growing up (note: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is rated PG for sequences of violence and action, language and impolite material). After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers (Leo, Donnie, Mikey, and Raph) set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them. Take your viewing to the next level by making it a party! I’m sharing lots of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles party ideas in today’s article, including party decorations, food ideas, free printables, and more TMNT party ideas and party favors.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Supplies and Decorations
The first TMNT party ideas I’m sharing is party décor. We used a color scheme of turtle green (a combination of dark green and a lighter, lime green), Leo blue, Donnie purple, Mikey orange, and Raph red.
The party backdrop was made with a darker green tablecloth and lighter green tablecloth layered over the top. I repeated the same pattern for the food table in front of the backdrop, and lined the top with a garland of balloons in varying shades of green.
For the dining table, we used these Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem tablecloths. The place setting included movie themed cups, green plates with napkins in the turtles’ theme colors (blue, purple, orange, and red) folded and wrapped around to look like their masks.
Ninja Turtle Party Food Ideas
These easy Ninja Turtle party food ideas will bring you to Flavortown! They’re so easy that the kids can help make several of them, which makes the food double as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles party activities.
Turtle Fruit and Veggie Platters
Green platters are topped with combinations of green fruit and vegetables with blue, purple, orange, and red fruit and vegetables arranged like turtle heads. Small ramekins of vanilla yogurt (for the sweet trays) and ranch dressing (for the savory trays) make the eyes. Here are some fruit and vegetable ideas in the colors you’ll need:
- Green grapes
- Honeydew melon cubes
- Kiwi slices
- Cucumber slices
- Celery sticks
- Green bell pepper slices
- Eggplant cubes
- Red cabbage
- Carrot sticks
- Mandarin orange slices
- Cantaloupe cubes
- Dried apricots
- Cherry tomatoes
- Red bell pepper slices
Popcorn and Candy Bar
A movie watch party would be super sus if you didn’t have popcorn! We had a green plastic serving bowl with buttered popcorn, empty green treat boxes (take it up a notch by adding construction paper masks in the turtles’ colors), and plastic snack containers with scoops filled with colorful candy for party guests to build their own movie snack mix:
Make Your Own Mini Pizzas
Pizza is essential for your Ninja Turtle party food ideas! You don’t have to ask your guests how they feel about pepperoni, as they will be customizing their own mini pies! Serve the components on green serving trays and in green serving bowls (medium and small depending on the quantity). Here are the fixin’s we used on our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles party pizza spread (including Mikey’s waffle bits… you have to see the movie to get it):
- Pre-made personal pizza crusts
- Pizza sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Sausage crumbles
- Ham cubes
- Sliced mushrooms
- Sliced olives
- Sliced red onions
- Sliced green bell peppers
- Pineapple chunks
- Chopped cooked waffles
Decorate Your Own Dessert Cereal Treat “Pizzas”
An after-movie dessert is… more pizza (because it could be anything… but it has to be pizza)! But not a regular pizza, these are made with sweet toppings to mimic traditional pizza ingredients and served on a crust of rice cereal treats! Kids decorate their own slices for a sweet ending to your party. Here are the ingredients we used:
- Rice cereal treat “crust” is made with the traditional recipe, then molded into a round shape in cake pans. Slice with a pizza slicer.
- Strawberry jam “pizza sauce”
- Buttercream frosting “cheese”
- Fruit roll-up “pepperoni” cut into the perfect shape and size using the lid of a water bottle
- Green sprinkles “herbs”
Ooze (ooooze) Drink
- Green Hawaiian Punch
- Ginger ale
- Pineapple juice
