What you need to make this Good Burger movie recipe
Here’s what you need to make the Good Burger movie recipe (including the secret Good Burger Ed’s Sauce recipe):
- For the Burger:
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- For the Good Burger Ed’s Sauce:
- ½ cup mayo3 tablespoons ketchup1 tablespoon lemon juice3 teaspoons dill pickle relish½ teaspoon sugar
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- For Assembly:
- 1 (12-count) package slider buns
- Lettuce
- 6 slices American cheese
- Tomatoes, sliced
- Hamburger dill pickle slices
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
How to make Ed Sauce from Good Burger and Good Burger Sliders
To make the Good Burger movie recipe, start by preheating the oven to 350°F. Line a 9”x13” sheet pan or baking pan with foil, spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray, and set aside. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder together. Press the meat into a large patty, filling out the bottom of the prepared sheet pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven (keeping the oven at 350°F). Carefully drain off any excess grease, and transfer the patty to a plate and set it aside.
Here’s how to make Ed Sauce from Good Burger. Make the Good Burger Ed’s Sauce recipe by mixing the mayo, ketchup, lemon juice, relish, sugar, and onion powder together in a medium bowl.
Once the pan has cooled, remove the foil from the baking sheet, and replace it with new foil. Slice the entire pack of buns in half lengthwise and place the bottom half onto the baking sheet. Add about a third of the Ed’s Sauce on top of the buns.
Next, add a thin layer of lettuce, then carefully place the burger patty on top of the lettuce. Add American cheese evenly over the patty.
Follow the cheese layer with another thin layer of lettuce, another third of the Ed’s Sauce, sliced tomatoes, and pickles.
Add one final thin layer of lettuce and the remaining Ed’s Sauce. Place the top buns over the top, pressing down gently onto the toppings. Use a basting brush to brush the top of the buns with the melted butter, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake in the oven for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
Using a serrated knife, slice the Good Burger Sliders into 12 individual servings.

Ingredients
For the Burger:
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
