30+ 'In the Pantry Recipes' for Dinner

I always love to find easy weeknight dinner recipes, and right now it’s important to find recipes that can be made with ingredients I have on hand. Today I’m sharing 30+ of my favorite easy pantry meals for dinner. You’ll want to pin this post for sure, as these easy pantry dinners will surely come in handy while you’re social distancing. Then don’t be surprised if some of these delicious ‘in the pantry’ recipes end up on your regular rotation!

Easy Pantry Dinners with Chicken

Orange and Ginger Chicken Chicken. If you don’t have orange marmalade, just serve this over plain rice.

Crock Pot Whole Chicken

Salsa Chicken. This classic slow cooker chicken dinner can be made with just two ingredients (chicken breast and a jar of salsa), but if you have them on hand, spruce it up by adding corn and/or black beans.

Anniversary Chicken

Hawaiian Chicken

Lighter General Tso’s Chicken

Honey Glazed Chicken

Parmesan-Dijon Chicken

Chicken Rice Divan Bake

Pan-Fried Chicken wit Lemony Roasted Broccoli

Crock Pot Creamy Ranch Chicken. In a slow cooker throw together chicken breasts, a can of cream of chicken soup, a brick of cream cheese, a packet of ranch dressing mix and a packet of Italian dressing mix.

Easy Chicken Parmesan. If you’ve got chicken nuggets in the freezer (even dino nuggets), bake them topped with a little marinara or tomato sauce and mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Serve over pasta with more of the sauce and you’ve got a quickie chicken parm!

Easy Pantry Meals with Beef

Shepherd’s Pie. This recipe is made easily in the Instant Pot, but there are a lot of ways you can make this one depending on what tools you have.

Spicy Orange Beef. You can add whatever vegetables you like or substitute chicken for the beef.

Patty Melt. There are a number of different ways to make this comfort food classic with ingredients you have at home.

‘In the Pantry’ Pork Recipes

Herbed Pork with Sautéed Wild Mushrooms. You can use canned mushrooms if you don’t have fresh mushrooms available.

Easy Pork Skillet. A family favorite made with ramen noodle packets. If you don’t have all these ingredients you can customize with different vegetables, or chicken instead of pork.

One Pan Ranch Pork Chops and Veggies. You can use fresh or canned green beans.

Crock Pot Ranch Pork Chops

Tomato Pork Chops. Any variety of canned tomatoes will work for this one.

Smothered Pork Chops

Easy Pantry Recipes with Fish

Jeannie’s Kickin’ Fried Fish. You can sub catfish or other white fish for tilapia if you don’t have any.

Tuna Melt. Use canned tuna, bread, cheese, and whatever other toppings you might have to pull this pantry dinner together.

Baked Tilapia with Fresh Herbs

Grilled Salmon

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Easy Dinners from Canned Food

Chili and Cornbread. Put canned chili in a cast iron skillet and bake your favorite scratch or boxed cornbread recipe on top of it.

Camping Pasta with Clam Sauce. You can make this non-perishable pasta recipe without clams, or substitute chicken.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup. Spruce it up with cheese, cilantro, avocado, or sour cream if you have them on hand.

Black Bean and Salsa Soup

Other ‘In the Pantry’ Recipe Ideas

Pasta with Parmesan. Make whatever pasta you may have and toss it with butter or olive oil, some Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. You can also add any herbs, veggies, chicken, or seafood that you may have.

S.O.P.P. Stands for sausage, onions, potatoes, and peppers.

Stir Fry. Got chicken, beef, pork, or even just veggies? Saute them in oil and add soy sauce and other Asian sauces of choice that you have in your pantry or fridge. Serve with rice or pasta.
