What you need to make this deviled eggs recipe with jalapeno

To make these jalapeno cream cheese deviled eggs, here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 dozen hard-boiled eggs, peeled and halved lengthwise. I always use my Instant Pot for making hard-boiled eggs. Not only is it really easy to make eggs in the pressure cooker, but they are somehow also easier to peel! I use the 5-5-5 method (5 minutes at high pressure, 5 minutes of natural pressure release, then 5 minutes in an ice water bath).
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 3 ounces softened cream cheese
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper, or to taste
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 pieces of bacon, cooked and crumbled, divided
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced, divided
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Optional: Panko breadcrumbs, for garnish
How to make spicy deviled eggs with jalapeno

To make this Jalapeno Popper Deviled Eggs recipe, first you’ll remove the yolks from the hard-boiled egg halves and place the yolks into a medium-sized bowl (leaving the egg whites intact). Add mayonnaise, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the egg yolks. Smash with a fork until the yolks and mixture are smooth, and mix so that the ingredients are well blended.

Stir the shredded cheddar cheese, half of the crumbled bacon, half of the diced jalapeno, and minced garlic into the egg yolk mixture and mix well. Place the egg yolk mixture into a plastic zipper bag and seal. Snip off one of the bottom corners of the bag with scissors, then pipe the jalapeno cream cheese deviled eggs yolk mixture evenly into the hollowed holes of the egg whites.

Sprinkle the remaining crumbled bacon and diced jalapeno on top of the yolk mixture on the jalapeno deviled eggs, along with panko breadcrumbs (if desired). While the panko isn’t necessary, it adds a great texture and makes these spicy deviled eggs with jalapeno taste even more like the jalapeno poppers appetizer.

These jalapeno cream cheese deviled eggs are a textural delight with the creamy filling and crunchy toppings!

These spicy deviled eggs with jalapeno are great as a holiday appetizer (like Easter or Thanksgiving) or for serving at parties (especially summer BBQs).
