How to make barbecue fries

Click here to watch a video of this recipe that I created for Grown in Idaho a few years ago. The first step in this Barbecue Fries recipe is to toss fries with barbecue sauce in a large mixing bowl. After they’re evenly coated with the sauce, add paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder and toss until the fries are evenly seasoned.
Next, you’ll cook the fries. To do this, you have two options: oven bake or air fry. Here is how to do each method:
Oven method:
Preheat Oven to 425 °F. Full Bag: 24-26 Minutes. Arrange frozen potatoes in a single layer on a 11″ x 17″ baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake according to instructions to desired color and crispiness, stirring halfway through cooking time.
Air fryer method:
Preheat air fryer to 360 °F. Fill air fryer no more than half full of frozen potatoes. Cook 10-12 minutes. Slide out basket, shake halfway through cooking time. Repeat air frying instructions with the remaining frozen potatoes until full bag is cooked.

Serve the Barbecue Fries in individual portions with additional barbecue sauce on the side for dipping.

We just love these BBQ fries! The flavor is so yummy, and the fries are so crispy!
