Here is a monthly round-up of the outfits I wore and shared on Instagram for April 2018. If you follow @fabeveryday on Instagram, these looks are probably familiar to you, but I have included some new photos of them in today’s post so you can see the outfits from different angles. I have links to shop the outfit components throughout the post, but remember that on my Instagram Shop page you can easily shop the looks I am sharing on Instagram at any time throughout the month.
As a reminder, you can shop my looks directly using the Liketoknow.it links below, or by signing up to Liketoknow.it here. You only need to sign up once!
Look 1: Spring clothes – especially flowy, floral dresses – make me happy! It just feels sunnier and lighter when the spring dresses come out. This was my #OOTD for Easter. I adore the asymmetry of this Vince Camuto dress. Shop the look (including the block heel sandals) here.
Look 2: I didn’t choose the #puglife, the pug life chose me. Fun fact about me – I have two brindle pugs. I can’t sit on the couch without at least one jumping up on me. But check out the extreme ruching on the sleeves of this top! I picked it up at a boutique in Stockholm last month, but have rounded up some similar styles (and details on the high-waist gray jeans from Express) for you to shop here. The shoes are the Hailey flats from JustFab. If you’re not a member of JustFab yet, click here to join so you can get the VIP pricing on the shoes.
Look 3: I was so excited to attend Austin Fashion Week this year! I proudly represented local Texas designers, like Adrienne Yunger (who was on the runway this year) and Kelly Wynne Handbags. The fabulous bag is Kelly Wynne’s Forever Classy Clutch bag in Candy Concept. I love the way it can be worn as a shoulder bag (there’s a chain strap) or held as a clutch. It also has a decent amount of room inside, so it’s not only fabulous – it’s also practical! Stay tuned for a more in-depth look at the local designers I featured during Fashion Week.
Look 4: My second Austin Fashion Week #OOTN featured Austin designers Cristal Martinez (@crisabelle1 on Instagram), Kelly Wynne, and Cassandra Collections. I’m pretty obsessed with this Kelly Wynne Halo bag in Frills ‘n’ Thrills. I love the color, the shape and the size, and the option to wear it as top-handle or shoulder (with an included chain strap). Also, check out my pretty Cassandra Collections Druzy ring I purchased at the show. Stay tuned for a more in-depth look at the local designers I featured during Fashion Week.
Look 5: The weather this month started out a little crazy, but it ended with a nice sunny streak! I am glad it cleared up, because I was ready to wear this dress from Express, and my favorite mules (Bijou mules from JustFab). Shop the clothes in this outfit here. If you’re not a member of JustFab yet, click here to join so you can get the VIP pricing on the mules.
Look 6: This month I decided I needed even more of a hair change, and I got a textured bob- kind of Parisian inspired (in case that gives you a hint for our next big travel adventure). I am in love with this new look, and thank my girl Penny at Vibe Collective in Austin for always doing right by me. And how cute is this $15 dress from AMI Clubwear? Shop my outfit, including the stacked rings (also from AMI Clubwear) here.
Look 7: It’s romper season, y’all! My first romper purchase of the year is this floral one with a tie back from AMI Clubwear, but I guarantee it won’t be my last. This one’s under $20 and super comfy – shop it and my accessories in this look here.
Look 8: Pattern mixing- do you do it? If you’ve not been brave enough to try yet, now’s the time, because it is IN! Try mixing stripes and florals (like this striped high-low skirt from Express and the Zoriah floral kitten heels from JustFab), or different kinds of stripes and florals! Click here to join JustFab so you can take advantage of their VIP prices.
Look 9: I love it when outfits do double-duty! Swipe to see how versatile this twist-back cami and on-trend the ruffle faux-wrap skirt from JustFab are. They go from office to happy hour with just a few small accessory swaps. Also, check out the gorgeous back on the top! If you’re not a VIP member of JustFab yet, click here to join.
That’s it for April! Don’t forget to follow @fabeveryday on Instagram, and visit my Instagram Shop page for ongoing #OOTD inspiration.
