What You Need to Make Spicy Rice

The foundation of this spicy rice recipe is Minute Butter & Sea Salt Jasmine Rice Cups, which feature a blend of Jasmine Rice with a hint of butter and salt (reducing the need for extra butter or salt added to the recipe). - 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 cup peas
How to Make Easy Spicy Rice

In 20 minutes or less you’ll be enjoying this spicy rice recipe!

Start by heating olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and bell pepper.

Cook, stirring often until the vegetables are tender but not browned (about 6-7 minutes). Now we add the seasoning blend. Add the garlic, turmeric, paprika, and crushed red pepper to the skillet with the vegetables.

Cook, stirring frequently for 2 more minutes.
Meanwhile, remove the Minute Butter & Sea Salt Jasmine Rice Cups from their packaging and remove the top film. Place two cups in the microwave and heat for 90 seconds. Repeat with the remaining two cups.

Stir the heated rice into the vegetable mixture and stir until the ingredients are well blended.

Finally, add the peas.

Cook, stirring for 1-2 more minutes, or until the spicy rice and peas are heated through.
