Here’s what you’ll need to make this recipe using boudin sausage:
- 1 (13.8-ounce) package refrigerated pizza crust (such as Pillsbury)

What to make with boudin: How to make this Boudin Pizza recipe

The first step in making this Boudin Pizza recipe is to partially pre-bake the pizza crust. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spread pizza crust out onto a greased baking sheet, and bake it in the preheated oven until edges just start to brown, 7 to 8 minutes.

While the crust is pre-baking, cook and crumble the boudin sausage in a skillet. You’ll cook it like ground sausage meat (removing it from the casing and breaking the sausage apart in the skillet while it cooks).

Mix prepared pizza sauce with Cajun seasoning, to taste for your preferred spice level. Spread over the partially-baked pizza crust.

Top the sauce with an even layer of the shredded cheese blend…

…followed by thinly sliced red bell pepper, red onion, and jalapeno.

Bake the boudin pizza in the preheated oven for 6-10 more minutes, or until the bottom of the crust is lightly browned and the cheese in the center of the pizza is melted.

Not only is this pizza yummy, it’s colorful and lovely to look at!

Slice the boudin pizza when you’re ready to serve.
