How to set up a green tablescape for your summer table

This summer table looks very chic, and is even worthy of a dinner or lunch party, yet it’s very easy to set up. Most of the green and gold tablescape products shown can be found on my Summer Table Decor Amazon Idea List, but keep reading for the specific details and individual product links.

First, set the table with a neutral, natural, or beige tablecloth (or if your table is a natural wood color, skip the tablecloth). I layered with natural burlap placemats before adding the plates. The dinnerware set is Stone Lain Lauren in Green, and the color is what inspired most of the green tablescape ideas. Check out the Stone Lain Amazon Storefront to see more styles and colors, as they have lots of beautiful pieces aside from this gorgeous set that they gifted me to review. The next part of my summer tablescape are these green linen napkins. I knotted them simply, but for a nicer holiday or event setting, add gold napkin rings (see a photo below) to take the green and gold tablescape up a level. I used gold silverware that I already had similar to this economical set, but green tablescapes would also look great with this more modern set.

I like mixing drinking goblets in different heights for some dimension for my tablescape ideas. For this green tablescape I used a clear drinking goblet (from IKEA) for water, and this green wine goblet along with it.

What really makes this green and gold tablescape special are the gold accents. In addition to the gold-toned silverware, I used this chic set of gold taper candle holders. You can use either ivory or white taper candles in them. Centerpieces are easy for a green summer tablescape, as you can just use houseplants in wooden or natural colored plant holders and place them along the center of the table. I placed mine in this green vase found at my local Michaels.

If you need tablescape ideas for summer, this one is so easy to accomplish.

Depending on what you’re serving, you can also layer your plates and bowls differently. Here are a few of the other pieces that came in my Stone Lain dinnerware set.

I hope you’re inspired by these green tablescape ideas for your summer table!
