I’m sharing another unique recipe for using Thanksgiving leftovers: a leftover Thanksgiving turkey pizza! I don’t know about you, but I actually prefer Thanksgiving leftovers to the main meal. When I’m not hosting Thanksgiving, I will actually make a mini spread at home for the sole purpose of having leftovers all weekend after the holiday. But there’s a point where the family starts getting tired of the same turkey meal, so I have come up with a few fun ways to repurpose those leftovers over the years (see my Leftover Thanksgiving Egg Rolls and Leftover Thanksgiving Empanadas recipes). This year I tried a Thanksgiving leftovers pizza, and it turned out so well! This leftover Thanksgiving pizza uses several of your leftovers from Thanksgiving, not just the turkey. What you need to make Thanksgiving leftovers pizza

Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make this leftover Thanksgiving turkey pizza recipe. That said, this recipe can be easily modified to use more or less of what you have on hand (and what your tastebuds prefer):
- 12-inch pre-made pizza crust (regular thickness; not thin crust)
- Olive oil
- Cranberry sauce (either jellied or whole berry cranberry sauce will work)
- Cooked turkey
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
- 1/3 cup cooked mashed potatoes
- 1/3 cup cooked stuffing
- Cooked turkey gravy
- Crispy fried onions
How to make a Thanksgiving leftover pizza

To make this leftover Thanksgiving pizza, you’ll start by preheating the oven to 425 degrees F. Place the pre-made pizza crust on a nonstick pizza pan and brush the crust evenly with olive oil. Spoon a thin layer of cranberry sauce evenly over the crust. In the photo above you can see how thick the layer I made was, but cranberry lovers should feel free to add more (I know I personally would have liked more than this, but my kids preferred the cranberry to be a little more moderate).

Top the cranberry layer with shredded pieces of turkey (as much as desired).

Next, add shredded mozzarella and Gruyere cheeses evenly over the turkey.

Evenly distribute chunks of mashed potatoes and stuffing on top of the cheese.

Finally, drizzle with turkey gravy.

Bake the Thanksgiving leftovers pizza in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Remove the pizza from the oven and top with fried onions (as much as desired). Place the Thanksgiving leftover pizza back into the oven and continue to bake it for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted in the center of the pizza and the crust is your desired crispness. Slice and serve the pizza hot.

You can serve the leftover turkey pizza recipe with more turkey gravy, if desired.

Those fried onions really bring this leftover Thanksgiving turkey pizza to the next level!
