If you’re looking for soccer decorations for birthday party, it doesn’t have to be costly or difficult! I used cheap soccer party supplies and some easy homemade soccer party decorations. I started with a simple table backdrop of a green tablecloth.
Here’s how the rest our soccer party decoration ideas came together.
DIY Soccer Party Decorations
Some of the DIY soccer party decorations were made by hand (I’ll share details on those homemade soccer party decorations below), and some made with my Cricut. I made the “GOOOL!” sign (which is great for the food table or can be hung on the soccer birthday party backdrop), jersey food signs, and little soccer balls on my Cricut (click here for the Soccer Party Signs design in Cricut Design Space). We used colors of our favorite team, FC Barcelona, but you can use any color of paper for the jerseys to match your team for a soccer watch party or your party’s color scheme if you’re making them for end of season soccer team party ideas.
For the banner we hung from our backdrop, we used cheap soccer party supplies of soccer ball plates taped onto ribbon. I saw the idea on Pinterest from this article from Mimi’s Dollhouse and found it really easy to replicate with ribbon for our homemade soccer party decorations.
Using the jerseys and soccer balls I cut with my Cricut, I put them on place card holders for food signs. The great thing about homemade soccer party decorations like this is how easy they are to customize with your favorite team’s colors to match your soccer party theme.
Cheap Soccer Party Supplies
Another great soccer birthday party idea using cheap soccer party supplies is to fold red and yellow paper napkins to look like red and yellow cards. You can even have some fun with them when passing napkins out to your soccer watch party or birthday party guests.

It wouldn’t be a good soccer watch party or soccer birthday party without some good eats! Here are some easy and creative soccer party food ideas.
Black and White Sweet and Salty Popcorn
We served salty and sweet popcorn in green mini treat bags that we decorated to look like a soccer pitch using a silver Sharpie marker.
To make the popcorn, I popped freshly popped popcorn then tossed it with some melted black candy melts in a large bowl. I spread the popcorn out onto parchment paper, and while the candy melts were still wet, I added white nonpareils sprinkles, black sugar sprinkles, and salt. Let dry, and add to your treat bags.
The treat bags were super easy DIY soccer party decorations that made the soccer party foods more festive!
Individual Servings of Chips in DIY Soccer Pitch Cups
Using a similar idea for homemade soccer party decorations, we also drew a soccer pitch pattern with a silver Sharpie marker on green paper cups. You can either use these cups for soccer watch party beverages, or you can use these cups to serve some of your soccer birthday party food ideas. We used them for individual servings of chips in a few different flavors.

Pizza Rolls in Round Bowls
Pizza rolls are always a hit for a sports-themed watch party or birthday party. Serve them in round white or black bowls to coordinate with your other soccer birthday party ideas.

For a World Cup watch party we did in the past (for an early morning match), I made simple yogurt and cereal parfaits then added soccer food picks and World Cup country flag food picks to make them more festive.
Soccer Cupcakes

Whether store-bought, from boxed mix, or a homemade recipe, it’s easy to make them festive with green icing and a grass icing tip, then adding soccer ball food picks, which make great soccer cupcake toppers. I displayed them on a round white cake stand to match the soccer birthday party theme.
