Blue and gold fall decor inspiration

As I mentioned above, the blue and gold fall decor inspiration started when I saw these blue velvet pumpkins on Etsy. I loved the shade of blue, and it inspired me to set a table centered around blue fall table decor incorporating gold along with natural and rustic elements. I’m so happy with how my fall tablescape came together! Keep reading for all the details.
What you need to set up this fall tablescape

I started by covering my table with a light grey tablecloth (since my table is a really dark wood; if your table is a natural wood color, you don’t necessarily need a tablecloth) and topped it with a cream gauze table runner. I already had the same runner in two other colors, and love the quality and price, so it was an easy decision to get a natural, cream-colored version for this fall tablescape.

With the blue pumpkins being the inspiration for my blue and gold fall decor, I got large and small velvet pumpkins for the centerpiece. I surrounded them with gold pumpkins that I already had from the craft store. I also included a larger blue vase with pampas grass in the centerpiece, and picked up some blue bud vases, but I didn’t ultimately use them in my blue fall table decor. They would work great for a longer table to fill out space in the center.

The velvet pumpkins have a natural pumpkin stem, so they are all unique!

Another element of my blue and gold table decoration ideas was to include natural elements (like the pampas grass). The biggest example are these woven placemats I found on Etsy. I also found some gorgeous blue linen napkins on Amazon that look great with gold napkin rings I already had. To finish the place setting for the blue fall table decor, gold silverware was the obvious choice.

Since I love pretty drinkware, I needed to find the perfect glasses to go with the blue fall decor. This set of blue goblets was the winner!

I’m in love with how my fall tablescape came together!

I hope these blue and gold table decoration ideas inspire you for your fall tablescapes, or anytime you want to use this color scheme in your dining room!
