What you need to make a peach crisp with peach pie filling

This peach crisp with canned peaches is prepared in a flash thanks to using prepared pie filling. Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 2 (21-ounce) cans peach pie filling
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Pinch kosher salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Vanilla ice cream
How to make a peach crisp using peach pie filling

To make this canned peach pie filling recipe, start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9×9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Drain the excess glaze from the cans of peach pie filling (see the example photo above with how it should look undrained – left vs. drained – right). Pour the peaches into the prepared baking dish. There will still be glaze; but the peaches shouldn’t be swimming or completely buried in it, or your end results will be too soupy.
Next, you’ll make your crumble topping for your peach crisp with canned peaches. In a medium bowl, stir together the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Add the melted butter and stir until the topping is well mixed and crumbly. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the peaches in the baking dish, then pop into the oven to bake for 25-30 minutes (or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling).

Serve your peach crisp with peach pie filling warm topped with vanilla ice cream.

The flavor combos in this peach crisp with pie filling are soooo yummy, and it’s so simple to prepare! That’s my favorite kind of recipe!

We prefer this canned peach pie filling recipe topped with vanilla ice cream, but it’s also wonderful with whipped cream.
