What you need to make this peanut butter and banana protein shake recipe

Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make one serving of this chocolate banana peanut butter protein shake. You can easily scale the recipe to make more than one at a time:
- 1 cup milk
- 1 scoop (about 30g) chocolate-flavored plant-based protein powder (I prefer this plant-based powder from Orgain – affiliate link)
- 2 tablespoons added protein creamy peanut butter (such as SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter Blended with Pea Protein – affiliate link). You can also use regular peanut butter, but it will reduce the amount of protein per serving.*
- 1 banana, peeled, chopped, and frozen. We tend to keep a plastic freezer bag with a few unpeeled bananas in our freezer at all times so we can make this one whenever we want. Unpeeled bananas freeze very well, and I keep them whole so I can pull one out for each serving as opposed to guessing if I had them pre-chopped before freezing.
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
*How much protein is in one Peanut Butter Banana Protein Shake?

11.5g (in 1 scoop protein powder for the brand that I use – see the link in the ingredient section above)
10g (in 2 Tb. added-protein peanut butter, or 7g of protein if using the same quantity of regular peanut butter)
1g (in 1 banana)
