How to make bacon-wrapped teriyaki turkey meatballs
To make these baked teriyaki turkey meatballs, start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with some nonstick cooking spray.
Combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, diced onion, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well mixed.
Form the meat mixture into sixteen 1 1/2-inch balls.
The bacon-wrapped meatballs recipe calls for 8 slices of bacon, each cut in half. Wrap each ground turkey meatball with a half-piece of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
Brush the bacon-wrapped turkey meatballs with teriyaki sauce, then place the ground turkey teriyaki meatballs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the teriyaki turkey meatballs in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then remove them from the oven and brush the meatballs with more teriyaki sauce. Continue baking the ground turkey teriyaki meatballs until the turkey is cooked completely and the bacon has reached your desired crispness (about 15 to 20 minutes more).

Bacon-Wrapped Teriyaki Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 8 slices bacon, cut in half
- 16 toothpicks
- ½ cup teriyaki sauce, or more to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until well mixed. Form into sixteen 1 1/2-inch balls.
