What you need to make these Christmas pretzels
- Wax paper
- Pretzel sticks
- Green candy melts
- Red and white nonpareils sprinkles
- Optional: Yellow star sprinkle or cake decoration (you can also make a star yourself out of yellow candy melts)
Christmas tree pretzels step-by-step instructions
To make these Christmas pretzels, start by arranging pretzel sticks in groups of three on top of a sheet of wax paper (in the shape of Christmas trees).
Spoon or pipe melted green candy melts inside the triangle of each of the Christmas pretzel trees, making sure the candy melt is touching the sides of all 3 pretzels. If necessary, smooth the melted candy out so it is somewhat even. But don’t worry, they don’t need to be perfect!
While the candy is still wet, sprinkle the candy melt Christmas trees with red and white nonpareils sprinkles.
Optional: Add a yellow star to the top. You can use a star sprinkle or pre-made cake decoration, or you can even make your own out of yellow candy melts.
Let the easy no-bake Christmas treats cool for the candy to harden. They can cool at room temperature, or you can place the Christmas pretzels in the fridge to expedite the hardening process if you’d like. Remove the candy melt Christmas trees from the wax paper to serve.
Here’s the Pretzel and Candy Melt Christmas Trees recipe! Enjoy, and happy holidays!
