How to make this recipe for baked Roast Beef Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls
The first step to making these Hawaiian roll roast beef sliders is to make a creamy horseradish spread (it’s based on my popular Creamy Horseradish Sauce recipe, which you’ll also want to save for later). You can make this sauce in advance and store it in the refrigerator (it’s even better when the ingredients have a chance to steep), or you can prepare it just before making the Roast Beef Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls. To make the sauce, mix mayonnaise, horseradish, sour cream, lemon juice, and garlic salt together in a bowl until completely blended. Cover and refrigerate to allow the flavors to incorporate while you’re preparing the rest of your ingredients.
Next, preheat the oven to 350° F and line a 9”x13” baking dish with parchment paper. Place the rolls (without separating them) on a cutting board. Using a long serrated knife, slice the entire loaf of rolls in half horizontally. Separate the halves, and spread the mayonnaise and horseradish mixture on both cut sides of rolls.
Place the bottoms of rolls in the prepared baking dish. Top with 5 cheese slices (2 rows of 2, then a row with one cut in half and the halves side by side), followed by the roast beef, then add the remaining 5 cheese slices (one halved again) on top of the beef. Finally, place the top half of the rolls on top.
As a finishing touch, you’ll now make a seasoned butter sauce to brush on top of the Hawaiian roll roast beef sliders before baking. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, everything bagel seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Brush the butter mixture on top of the rolls. Cover the baking dish and roast beef sliders with foil and bake in the preheated oven until the baked roast beef sliders are thoroughly heated and the cheese melts (20-22 minutes). Remove the foil and bake the Hawaiian roll beef sliders uncovered until the tops of rolls are browned and crisp (8-10 more minutes).
Use a sharp knife to cut between the baked roast beef sliders’ rolls to separate the individual sliders. The roast beef sliders with Hawaiian rolls are best served warm.
The combo of sauces and ingredients in these roast beef and provolone sliders on Hawaiian rolls is SO crave-worthy!
Optional: Serve the Hawaiian roll roast beef sliders with prepared au jus for dipping.
