I’m one of those #pumpkinspiceeverything people. This time of year, gimme all the pumpkin! As soon as I heard that Torani had new sugar-free fall flavored syrups, I knew I had to develop a recipe with their Sugar Free Pumpkin Spice Syrup (find it at a Walmart near you). With this year’s whipped coffee trend, I was surprised that I couldn’t find many sugar-free whipped coffee recipes online, or pumpkin spice whipped coffee recipes for that matter. That had to change, so I’m excited to share a delicious low carb dalgona coffee recipe with you today: Sugar-Free Pumpkin Spice Whipped Coffee! It is surprisingly quick and easy to make, guilt-free, and will give you all the pumpkin-y fall vibes that we love so much.

The full Sugar-Free Pumpkin Spice Whipped Coffee recipe is at the end of this post, but first I want to share some important tips for making perfect sugar-free whipped coffee.
Pumpkin Spice Sugar-Free Whipped Coffee ingredients
For this sugar free dalgona coffee recipe you’ll need:
- 2 tablespoons Torani Sugar Free Pumpkin Spice Syrup
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee
- 2 tablespoons boiling water
- 1 tablespoon zero-calorie sugar-free confectioner’s sugar substitute (such as monk fruit or stevia)
- 1 cup milk
The usual ratio for whipped coffee (with sugar) is equal parts instant coffee, boiling water, and sugar (usually 2 tablespoons each in the average recipe). Since this is sugar-free whipped coffee with a flavored sugar-free pumpkin spice syrup added, the ratio is a little different since we have additional liquid with the syrup plus a sugar substitute in place of real granulated sugar.
Can you use regular coffee instead of instant coffee in whipped coffee recipes? This dalgona coffee recipe only works with instant coffee, as instant coffee dissolves in hot water. If you use regular coffee the grounds will not dissolve, and you’ll have a gritty and bitter drink.
Is sugar free whipped coffee still fluffy without sugar? While regular sugar will keep whipped coffee fluffy longer, it is possible to make fluffy whipped coffee without sugar. After testing several methods for making sugar-free dalgona coffee I found that using a sugar-free zero-calorie confectioner’s sugar substitute made the fluffiest whipped coffee that also stayed fluffier longer than other types of granulated sugar substitute. You can find both monk fruit and stevia-based confectioner’s sugar substitutes.
How to make sugar free whipped coffee
It is surprisingly fast and easy to make whipped coffee! In a small bowl stir together the Torani Sugar Free Pumpkin Spice Syrup, instant coffee, boiling water, and sugar-free confectioner’s sugar substitute. Stirring the instant coffee together with the hot water and other ingredients will help it to dissolve before you begin the whipping phase.
After stirring you will beat the mixture using an electric hand mixer until it’s whipped and able to form peaks. It is possible to do this with a whisk by hand, but it will take a lot longer (and use more manual effort).
To assemble your sugar free whipped coffee, first pour a cup of milk over ice into a glass.
Optional: If you prefer a warm coffee drink (like a sugar free pumpkin spice latte), use steamed milk instead of milk and ice. Warm or cold, this pumpkin spice whipped coffee drink is DELISH!
Spoon the whipped coffee on top of the milk.
Now drink and enjoy! Sugar-free whipped coffee is best enjoyed immediately after you make it.
The sugar free pumpkin spice syrup from Torani has just the right amount of sweetness and spice to make this and other fall drinks perfect.

Very bitter, added stevia

Thanks for letting me know how you modified it! These kinds of coffee drinks can have a bitter taste due to the amount of concentrated coffee, and the level of bitterness can vary depending on the coffee used.
