If you’ve been following the blog over the last few months, then I’m sure you noticed that the boys (and admittedly, me as well) have become quite the fans of Pokémon. So much so that G made a late decision to change his birthday party theme from Minecraft to Pokémon! I didn’t mind either way, honestly, as both themes would be fun to work with.
I recently shared details on the DIY paper plate Poke Ball craft the kids did at the party. Today, I am sharing the rest of the details from the Pokémon-themed birthday party. My (soon-to-be) 5-year-old has requested a Pokemon party this year. Usually I find one or two good ideas from a single blog post, but I wanted to take a moment to comment because I love all of your ideas here! And thank you for the free printables! Very cute party–well done!
ramonaruby says
@Moms Tot School thanks so much for taking the time to share those kind words! I hope your kiddo has a great party!
akame kitty says
What kind of paper ou used for the water bottle label? Thank you
ramonaruby says
@akame kitty, I just used regular printer paper, which was fine since the water was at room temperature.
akame kitty says
Thank you for your reply.. I did mine but it's not the same as yours, yours is shiny
Mypartyarty says

Any candies made out a Pokeman?
Guga says
Your ideas are great, I love that you give credit where credit is due, and that you share the links and information for each and every thing! You made my life so much easier! I have been researching Pokemon birthday party ideas for two or three days, and once I found your blog, my search was over.
Thank you!!
ramonaruby says
Thanks, Guga, that is really kind of you!
Andrea Drake says
@ramonruby thank you for this great post!!
What type of mini chocolate bars did you use for the wrapper printable?
Would mini-Hersey bars work? (like halloween sized)
Also is there a link for the Welcome Trainers poster? Or was that a purchased file?
If so where can I get it from?
Thank you!
Ramona | Fab Everyday says
@Andrea Drake – I used the assorted pack of mini Hershey bars for those. They fit perfectly. The Welcome sign was adapted from the custom art I purchased for the food signs. You may want to check with that seller, or try to recreate yourself with the Pokémon logo and a Pokeball clipart.
Mandy Wong says
I’m not sure if I will be using these printables, but I really want to thank you beforehand! Thanks for all you do!

My son is wanting a Pokémon party and these ideas are awesome. Just wondering how did you get the sign that says Pokémon snack bar . I would like to use that idea.
Ramona Cruz-Peters says
That was a custom sign! I suggest reaching out to the seller or making one of your own if you can :). All other links for the party printables are on my printables page here: https://fabeveryday.com/2016/06/fab-everyday-party-printables.html
Jenelle Bain says
Hi
Where did you pruchase your Welcome Pokemon Trainers sign from?
Ramona Cruz-Peters says
Hi Jenelle! I made that one myself using clipart and logos found online. I printed it on 11×17″ (tabloid) size paper.
Autism Journey says
Hi. I am so grateful for all of the printables and ideas you shared with us. May I ask what printer you use to print 11×17? Thank you so very much!!
Ramona Cruz-Peters says
Thank you! For 11×17 I usually go to FedEx office and print it from their multi-function printer (the one where you can bring your own flash drive and do your own printing).
Stephanie says
Where did you find the great black serving trays for fruits and veggies?
Ramona Cruz-Peters says
I was lucky and found them at my local Dollar Tree! I would definitely check your dollar store.
Sarah says
This all looks amazing!! I would love to have a Pokemon party for my eldest, but because of Covid this year, he’s having some friends to go karting, and we’re not having anyone back at the house. It’s just too complicated. I’ve put some sweets in Pokemon cups, bought stickers to put in the bags, put one sticker on a notebook for each goody bag, and am just on here looking for free printables to put around water bottles. So many fantastic ideas for food! I think we shall have to have a Pokeball pizza just for the sake of it!
Ramona Cruz-Peters says
The Pokeball pizza is so easy, why not do it! I hope your kiddo enjoys his celebration!
Leslie says
I loved this post! So helpful. I’m bummed none of the Amazon links still work (I realize it’s been several years). Thanks for giving me some ideas!
Ramona Cruz-Peters says
Thank you! I will try to go through the links to see if there are updated listings (or at least similar options) and will update the post. Best of luck with your party!
Ramona Cruz-Peters says
Hi Leslie – thanks again for tipping me off to the broken links. I have updated all of them with the new listing links or similar items. Thank you, and good luck with your party!
