What you need to make this ginger beer mocktail
To make this ginger beer mocktail with pineapple juice, you’ll need just 5 minutes and the following ingredients and tools:
- Shaker
- Rocks glass
- Small dishes
- Ice, for shaker and for glass
- 3 ounces pineapple juice, plus more for rimming
- 1 ounce agave nectar
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (or less to taste)
- Ginger beer, chilled (for top off) – Be sure to get the non-alcoholic/mixer kind
- Tajin seasoning, for rimming
- Optional: Small pineapple wedge, for garnish
- Optional: Whole Thai chili pepper or thinly sliced jalapeno, for garnish
How to make non-alcoholic pineapple drinks like this pineapple mocktail recipe
This pineapple mocktail recipe is really quick and easy to make! Start by adding pineapple juice, agave nectar, and chili powder* to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake until the mocktail with pineapple juice ingredients are well mixed and chilled. *Ingredient Tip: You can adjust the chili powder amount to your spice preferences. I’ve make this pineapple ginger mocktail with more and less chili powder, and it always comes out deliciously.
Place additional pineapple juice on a small saucer or plate. Place the Tajin seasoning on a separate small plate. Dip the rim of a rocks glass in the pineapple juice, followed by the Tajin to coat the rim for your non-alcoholic pineapple drinks.
Pour ice into the prepared glass, then pour the pineapple juice mocktail mixture over the ice. Finally, you’ll top off the ginger mocktails with ginger beer.
If desired, garnish your pineapple ginger mocktails with a small wedge of pineapple and a chili pepper or a few slices of jalapeno.
