- 6 ounces (3/4 cup) blood orange juice (the juice of approximately three blood oranges)
- 2 ounces (1/4 cup or 4 tablespoons) simple syrup
- Sugar (for rim)
- Soda water, chilled (for top off)
- Blood orange wedges (for garnish)
How to make blood orange mocktails
To make this delicious sparkling blood orange mocktail, start by adding blood orange juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake until the ingredients are well mixed and chilled.
Place sugar on a small plate. Press half a sliced blood orange on the top edge and side of a rocks glass, then dip the side wetted with the juice into the sugar to coat. Repeat with a second glass.
