Celebrate birthdays and special moments with this Chantilly-inspired berry cake recipe that I created for Wilton! Inspired by the popular Berry Chantilly Cake recipe from Whole Foods, I used Wilton buttercream frosting and added a topping of sugared berries to make it a little different. While Chantilly frosting is lighter and airier (similar to a whipped cream frosting) than traditional buttercream frosting, I find that Wilton’s ready-made buttercream starts at a thinner consistency, making it a great substitute for Chantilly in this recipe, while also having enough structure to create the lovely pulled dot border.
