What you need to make this Halloween pudding cup recipe

To make these easy Halloween pudding cups, you’ll need the following:
- 2 (1-ounce) packages instant white chocolate pudding mix. I prefer the white chocolate variety as opposed to vanilla pudding for this recipe, as the flavor works really well and the color is whiter than the vanilla pudding, which allows the color to match the whipped topping better.
- 3 cups full-fat coconut milk, chilled (Note: This must be regular coconut milk from a can, not the kind in a carton or bottle for adding to coffee. Also, make sure you are using regular coconut milk and not light or low-fat coconut milk, cream of coconut, or coconut water)
- Optional: Shredded coconut
- Whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed
- Large mixing bowl
- Whisk
- 4 small (9-ounce seems to be a good size) stemless wine glasses
- Black dry erase marker
- Optional: Piping bag
How to make these easy Halloween pudding cups

To make this Halloween pudding recipe, start by shaking your can(s) of coconut milk well. Pour the coconut milk into a liquid measuring cup and refrigerate until well chilled. When ready to use, whisk the coconut milk to reincorporate any of the liquid that may have separated.
In a large bowl, whisk together the white chocolate pudding mix with the chilled coconut milk for 2 minutes (the mixture will be thick). Place the pudding in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, or until well-chilled and set.

While the pudding is chilling, you’ll prepare the cups for the Ghost Pudding Cups. Use a black dry erase marker to draw a ghost face (two eyes and a mouth) on the outside of each of your serving glasses.

Optional step: Mix shredded coconut into the pudding for more coconut flavor.
Distribute the Halloween pudding recipe into the serving glasses. Top with a swirl of whipped topping extending up over the top of the glass (a piping bag is helpful for this step).

Refrigerate the Halloween Ghost Pudding Cups until ready to serve.
