Instructions for making these dipped Oreos for Halloween

Mint Oreo Frankenstein’s Monsters (Halloween Oreos)

These Oreo monsters come together quickly and easily! They’re great for a Halloween party, Halloween goodie bags, or even just a festive sweet treat for Spooky Month. Here’s how to make these Halloween chocolate covered Oreos Frankenstein’s monsters:

  1. Melt Green Candy Melts in a bowl according to package directions. If needed, stir in EZ Thin to make a smooth consistency.
  2. Working one or two cookies at a time, dip the Oreos in the melted candy to coat completely. Set on a piece of wax paper.
  3. While the candy is still wet, add black sprinkles to the top to look like hair, and add two candy eyeballs in the center.
  4. Repeat steps 2-3 with additional cookies until you have your desired amount of dipped Oreos for Halloween.
  5. Melt a smaller amount of Black Candy Melts in a bowl according to package directions. Add the melted candy into a disposable decorating bag with the tip snipped off. Pipe a zigzag pattern for the Oreo monster’s mouth onto each cookie, along with a small segment of stitches. You might need to work quickly for this step, as the candy might start to set in the decorating bag.
  6. Allow Candy Melts to set completely before serving (you can also chill the Halloween Oreos to expedite the setting process).
