What you need to make these Halloween Madeleine cookies

Here’s what you’ll need to gather to make these easy Halloween treats:

• Microwave-safe bowl
• Wax paper
• Serving dish
• Food processor (optional for crushing the OREOs)
• White Candy Melts
• Pre-made pumpkin-flavored Madeleines (any flavor would work for these Halloween Madeleines, but the pumpkin flavor is not only seasonal, but also tastes really yummy with the Candy Melts coating)
• Black cake decorating icing
• OREO Cookies, icing filling removed
• Optional: Small Halloween toys (spider rings, bones, etc.)

How to make these Halloween graveyard treats

Melt the Candy Melts in the microwave per package directions. One at a time, dip the Madeleines in the melted candy and place on wax paper to dry.

Once the Candy Melts layer of the Halloween Madeleine cookies is dry, pipe “RIP” onto the candy-covered Madeleines using cake decorating icing.

Crush OREO Cookies into crumbs and pour into a serving dish. Arrange the “gravestones” standing in the cookie crumb “dirt.” Add Halloween toys to the scene with the Halloween graveyard treats if desired.
