Tips for making this prosciutto, fig and goat cheese crostini
- The fig spread I used is from Whole Foods. It’s so delicious that I could eat it with a spoon. It’s like the inside of a Fig Newton, but fancy.
- This appetizer is best when assembled fresh, but you can prep some of it in advance for easy assembly just before your party.
- Tip for crumbling the goat cheese to make it easier for sprinkling: make sure it’s really cold, or freeze the log for a few minutes before crumbling.
- If you don’t have goat cheese (or prefer a different cheese) you can substitute blue cheese, gorgonzola, feta, or sharp cheddar.
